After Camp Swim Lessons will be held Monday through Thursday afternoons with Friday used as a makeup day for weather. Offered in two week sessions, 8 half hour lessons in each session. Minimum age is 4 by September 1, 2014 and child must be toilet trained. Cost is $75 per two-week session of eight lessons. Child must also be a current member of the YWCA; this is $5 per year. There will be ten to twelve students in each class and two Red Cross certified instructors. Classes are held rain or shine but rescheduled to a Friday for thunder and lightning. If instructor and parent agree that the child is not ready for lessons, a refund of up to 50% will be granted. For chin length or long hair, provide cap or tie back. So that swimmers give all their attention to the instructor, we ask that you stay out of sight during lessons. You can visit on the final lesson of each session. There will be a seating area available.
